Congratulations Demi Tait and Roché Malan!
Demi and Roché have been chosen by the member delegates at the IPPS SA 28th Annual Conference to participate in the 2026 Young Horticulturist Exchange Program. Demi will be going to Australia and Roche to New Zealand.
Demi and Roché introduced themselves and their background in plant production/horticulture, through a short presentation at the recent IPPS SA Annual Conference.
IPPS Australia and IPPS Southern Africa have an established exchange program. As of January 2025, IPPS Southern Africa and IPPS New Zealand have entered into a similar exchange program agreement! The intention is to offer young horticulturists at the start of their career, an opportunity to gain experience of a different plant production industry, and to build a better understanding of the host country. The chosen candidates will visit their allocated host country for a period of about two weeks.
