With a great passion for indigenous plants, Megan worked at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden for a year and a half, until December 2015.
She graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a National Diploma in Horticulture in 2015. She worked as the Kirstenbosch Scholar whilst completing her BTech (Horticulture) full time via UNISA correspondence studies in 2015.
